Simi’s manager speaks on the singer’s wedding to Adekunle Gold, says it is not a video shoot

Wednesday, January 9, was a thrilling day for many Nigerians, something close to a revival of happy moments for many. The reason for the cheeriness can be attributed to the sudden traditional wedding of popular musicians Simisola and Adekunle Gold.

Due to the secrecy of their traditional union, some people still think that short clips from the wedding reception were from a video shoot. However, Simi’s manager Wale Bello, has come out to confirm the singer’s union to Adekunle Gold.

According to Punch, Bello disclosed that the talented musicians truly got married. He added that why they made it a private ceremony was best known to them.

Bello said: “Adekunle Gold and Simi are already married. They got married on Wednesday in a close-knit ceremony. It was the traditional marriage that they had and they have not yet fixed a date for the white wedding. Although some people are speculating that they would do their white wedding this week, it is false; they only did their traditional wedding. I do not know why they made it a secret but it is what they want. Some people might have felt that it is a music video shoot but it is not. They are married.

Simi and Adekunle Gold’s white wedding will take place later in the year. There are also rumors that the singers might be expecting their first baby together.

Legit.ng earlier reported that a new video of Simi and her bridesmaid dancing shakushaku while expressing their unreserved excitement has emerged on the internet. In the video, Simi who was wearing a beautiful blue Aso-oke took center stage in front of her excited bridesmaids who were wearing uniform brown attires. The excited ladies who could not help but be happy for their friend started a dancing spree.
