Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has admitted that the duo of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo won't plat their best of their coaches give them strict instructions.

These two players are arguably known as the best football stars for the past nine years considering their achievements while playing for their clubs.

The Red Devils were not impressive under Jose Mourinho which forced the club's board to throw him out in which reports claimed that some players were not happy under the Portuguese.

Rooney has now explained that even the world best players will struggle under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

“I think if you take Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and tell them you have to play here, you have to do this, you have to that, they aren't going to be the same players,” Rooney told ESPN.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who replaced Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford has been impressive since he came on board winning all his first six games.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Manchester United appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjær as their new manager until the end of the ongoing 2018/19 Premier League season.

The 45-year-old Norwegian football manager replaces former manager Jose Mourinho who was thrown out of the club because of poor results.

He has been joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, together with Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna this season at Old Trafford.

The Nigerian Academy of Science has inducted a professor of Parasitology/Epidemiology, Ekanem Ikpi Braide, as its 19th President on Thursday. NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
