Ronaldo escapes terrible accident after losing balance on the treadmill during training

- Cristiano Ronaldo took part in a light workout after helping Juventus win Italian Super Cup

- Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez captured the tumble as Ronaldo was spotted laughing after doing some sidesteps

- The Portuguese lost concentration and had to grab the treadmill handle to keep his balance

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo escaped unhurt after losing his balance on the treadmill while dancing during training.

Ronaldo, who joined other squad members for a light workout after their Supercoppa Italiana win in Jeddah early in the week, was fortunate to escape unscathed.

In a video clip recorded by his partner, Georgina Rodriguez and uploaded on the social media, Ronaldo was seen walking on the treadmill with music playing in the background.

However, after some steps Ronaldo while exchanging jokey comments with his girlfriend, started laughing as he made his way back to the treadmill again, but lost his balance along the way and had to reach for the handle to support his from going down.

Luckily, Ronaldo escaped unhurt from what could have been a horrific accident, and could only share a smile as the video clip ended.

Thus the Portuguese star is expected to feature for Juventus when they clash with bottom-placed Chievo on Monday night.

Interestingly, on Wednesday, Ronaldo netted the only goal for Juve in their Italian Super Cup win over Milan in Jeddah.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Cristiano Ronaldo's second half goal helped Juventus claim the Italian Super Cup after a hard-fought 1-0 win over 10-man AC Milan on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

The encounter saw Ronaldo’s headed goal turned the table in favour of Juventus after finishing twice as runners-up in the previous attempts.

A performance that saw Ronaldo claim his first silverware with the Bianconeri since his switch last summer as Juve lifted the Super Cup for the first time since 2015.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
