Real Madrid fans are seeking a bench role for Gareth Bale for the rest of the campaign as they look to rebuild their season.

According to Daily Mail report, a poll conducted by renowned Spanish newspaper AS, revealed that a larger percentage of the Los Blancos fans are not comfortable with the Welshman.

At the last count, Bale has not enjoyed a healthy relationship with the Galaticos fans despite winning four Champions League titles, one La Liga and the Copa Del Rey in his five-and-a-half seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The former Tottenham ace also claimed three UEFA Super Cups, three Club World Cups and one Spanish Supercopa.

Bale returned to action from his latest injury spell on Sunday to net his 99th goal as Real Madrid claimed a 4-2 win at Espanyol.

The Los Blancos are now placed third in La Liga log, 10 points adrift of leaders Barcelona and five behind second-placed Atletico Madrid after 21 matches.

Interestingly, Real Madrid fans, who are unhappy with Bale prefer to see youngster Vinicius Jr in the club’s starting XI.

The Brazilian has excelled since his arrival in the summer despite Real Madrid poor run in the current campaign.

But Bale has continued to struggle to fit into Cristiano Ronaldo role, who was sold to Juventus in the summer.

However, various degree of Injuries have not helped Bale to show his true qualities on the pitch this season, netting only 11 times in 24 matches for Real so far.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Real Madrid defeated Espanyol 4-2 away from home to maintained third spot in La Liga.

Los Blancos were dominant in the opening exchanges of the match and it did not take long for the European champions to take the lead.

Luka Modric made a swift move into the box as his shot was saved by Diego Lopez and it fell kindly for Karim Benza who made no mistake with the finish.

It was 1-0 to Madrid.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
