Many blast TV presenters for opining that most men are depressed because women are becoming leaders (video)

In a 21st century Nigeria, new questions are arising, emerging issues are being discussed due to the prevalence of certain unanticipated societal challenges. One of such unexpected problems being confronted is depression. In order to nip this arising crisis in the bud, many people are coming out to discuss the reasons behind the mental condition.

In accordance to this, popular media personality Lolo Cynthia gathered together a group of ladies for the sole purpose of discussing and deliberating on why depression as a crisis is on the rise.

These ladies deemed as millennial females had a lot to say about the causes of depression. One of them attributed it to the fact that, these days, young people have a lot of options to pick from. They are not in want of what to do, hence, they are at the risk of short attention span which leads them downhill to depression.

Another talked of the fact that urbanisation and the absence of communal existence in today's world are the prime reasons causing depression. According to the lady who raised this point, many are drowned in the quest to succeed so that they barely have time for others and themselves.

Now, two other points raised by these women of great esteem got the attention of Nigerians. One of the arguments raised was that a lot of men get depressed because women are taking up leadership roles by the minute!

Yet again, another person said that some people lie about being depressed just to get attention and join a supposed community. See the tweet and video below:

Galadima, an ardent critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, claimed that he did not borrow money or have unpaid debt with Unity Bank, which lodged a complaint against him and occasioned AMCON’s move on Tuesday. The properties taken over include House No. 15, Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and House No. 4, Bangui Street, Wuse 2, also in Abuja.  Reacting to the situation, Galadima said, “This is an attempt to disgrace and break me down. This is injustice and an attempt to humiliate me. "But I am unbreakable and they can never silence me. They sacked me and over 50 people that sleep in the apartment. "We don’t know where to go.
