Lionel Messi nets 15th goal as Barcelona pip stubborn Getafe in tough La Liga showdown

Lionel Messi netted the opener as Barcelona claimed a 2-1 over Getafe in a tough La Liga showdown on Sunday, January 6, 2019.

The encounter at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez .lived up to its billing as both sides gave a good account of themselves for the entire duration of the game.

Messi scored after 29 minute to put Barcelona in the front foot before Luis Suarez doubled the advantage in the 39th minute.
