He punched me in the eye - Popular Nigerian singer says after being assaulted by a policeman at Afrikan Shrine (video)

Popular Nigerian singer Viktoh has taken to social media to reveal how he was assaulted by a police officer. He was once signed on to Olamide’s music label, YBNL.

This heartbreaking incident took place at the new Afrikan Shrine along Alpha Beach Road, Igbo Efon in Lekki. He attended the Zlatan’s Zanku To The World Concert.

Although the circumstances surrounding the brutal confrontation that led to the assault is still unknown but Viktoh could be seen with a swollen and black eye as he confronts the officers in a video.

According to Viktoh’s viral video, he was heard saying: “See my face, police brutality they must stop this night. He punched me in the eye, you punched me in the eye look at you, show your face.” The police officer could also be seen trying to beg the singer.

Legit.ng earlier reported that the Lagos state police command on Friday, July 6, finally arrested some of its officers who were involved in the assault of a young lawyer, identified as Olakunle Karimu, for demanding his salary from his boss, Oluyomi Olawore, who is also a legal practitioner.
