Death is inevitable but it is more painful when a loved one died fighting for his fatherland knowing fully well he is not properly equipped with what he needs to fight in a war.

A Twitter user identified as Harri Obi through his handle @Harri_Obi has shared the news of the death of a young and handsome Nigerian soldier who died fighting the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.

Obi who claimed the soldier who he identified as Ifeanyi Oseh was his friend shared details and screenshots of his last chat with him before he died.

He revealed that Ifeanyi was killed on Saturday, December 29, 2018. He shared the news of his death on December 31.

In the late soldier's post, he shared his fear and the suffering of the military men facing Boko Haram.

He also shared photos of his soldier friend and another his colleague 30 minutes before he was shot and killed.

Legit.ng had reported the story of a young Nigerian soldier named Jerry Clement who died following a fatal car accident. Just before his death, Clement had shared a post four months ago asking God to shield him from Boko Haram.

Unfortunately for the gallant soldier, his prayer was answered but unknowingly he was destined to die young as he was said to have died shortly after a successful battle against the terrorist group on his way back to the barest level of civilisation after staying in the forest.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
