Dogara speaks on economic situation, says APC has failed Nigerians

- Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the House of Representatives, has spoken about the current Nigeria economic situation

- Dogara claimed that the economic situation is caused by bad governance of APC led federal government

- The speaker, however, declared that the APC led administration at all levels has indeed failed Nigerians

Yakubu Dogara, the speaker of the House of Representatives, declared that the current Nigeria economic situation is caused by what he described as bad governance of the APC led federal government.

Nigerian Tribune reports that Dogara who made this known on Monday, January 21, at the flagging off of the gubernatorial campaign of the PDP in Gombe state.

He said: “Nigeria has been under intense security challenges, we must stop the APC in order to have one united Nigeria and end insecurity in North-East region, Zamfara, Sokoto and the country at large.”

The speaker declared that PDP is the best option to what the country is presently going through adding that APC led administration at all levels has indeed failed Nigerians.

On his part, the Gombe state governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, assured that the socio economic and political dimensions of the country will witness an unprecedented turn around if his party PDP, is given another chance to take charge of the affairs of leadership in the country.

Hassan Dankwambo urged Nigerians to vote the Atiku/Obi ticket because according to him their track records in political antecedent of the country makes the duo the most experienced and the most preferred candidates for Nigerians”.

The governor assured the people the state that a vote for the PDP is a vote for the continuation of development considering what has been done in the state in the last 8 years of the PDP led administration in the state.

The PDP gubernatorial candidate, Senator Bayero Usman Nafada who is fondly called ‘Dankauye’, (Village man) said that “voting for PDP in Gombe means support for continuity of developmental projects in the state”

Nafada assured the people of the state that his administration will ensure completion of any developmental projects not completed by the outgoing administration because according to him continuity is the best way to measure political development.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, was on Wednesday, October 3, elected as the PDP candidate for the Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa-Balewa Federal Constituency in Bauchi state.

Dogara was elected by all the 325 delegates from the constituency ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The constituency party delegates unanimously affirmed Dogara as the sole candidate of the PDP during the party’s primaries held in Zwall town of Tafawa Balewa local government of the state.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
