Chelsea in deep trouble over transfer of 100 youth players, risk 2-year ban by FIFA

- Chelsea risk 2-year ban as FIFA are investigating the club over a 100 transfer dealing with youth players

- The Stamford Bridge side are also being investigated on how player are been recruited

- The Premier League club could be banned for irregularities if they are found guilty

FIFA are launching an investigation into Chelsea's transfer dealing involving over 100 players as the Premier League side risk being banned in the transfer market for two years.

Officials from the FIFA Integrity and Compliance unit have spent more than three years making inquiries in these cases.

According The Guardian, the number of cases being probed is believed to be over 100 as against an earlier report of 25.

French media outfit Mediapart, reported that the FIFA Integrity and Compliance unit recommends Chelsea are punished with a fine of £45,000 and an embargo on all signings to cover a total of four transfer windows.

It is understood that the unit are investigating on how players are being signed and how they are being registered at the club's academy.

And as it stands, the Stamford Bridge outfit are set to know their fate on whether they will face any financial sanctions or a ban from the transfer market.

If found guilty, the west London club would have the right to an appeal to FIFA and then to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Chelsea on Wednesday night said: "The club has fully co-operated with FIFA and has provided comprehensive evidence demonstrating its compliance with FIFA regulations. We will not comment further."

A FIFA spokesman added: "Investigations were opened concerning Chelsea as well as other English clubs. No further information can be provided."
