Chelsea fans turn against Sarri for the first time, saying he is a confused manager

- Maurizio Sarri has been heavily criticised by supporters following Chelsea's heavy defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium

- A Joshua King's brace and one each from David Brooks and Charlie Daniels handed the Eddie Howe's men

- The Blues have now dropped to 5th on the log after losing their 5th Premier League match

Angry Chelsea supporters were said to have lashed out at Maurizio Sarri after substituting Gonzalo Higuain in Wednesday's 4-0 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Two goals from Joshua King and one each from David Brooks and Charlie Daniels saw the hosts claim massive win over the Blues.

The Stamford Bridge also dropped out of the top four with Arsenal replacing them despite having the same points (47) after 24 matches.

SunSport reports that Sarri was booed by the club fans who traveled with the team for his decision to remove Higuain's debut.

The Argentine striker, after joining the Stamford Bridge side this month on a loan deal from Juventus and made his debut for the club in their 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday.

However, Higuain's Premier League debut only lasted just 65th minute despite Chelsea being 2-0 down on the south coast.

Frenchman Olivier Giroud replaced the former Napoli side and that decision got the Blues star angry.

The publication also revealed that there was chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' aimed at the Blues boss.

After the match, Sarri was said to have blasted his players for about 50 minutes in the dressing room after the match.

The Italian manager kicked his back-room staff - including assistant manager Gianfranco Zola - out of the changing room.

Meanwhile, during the post match conference, Sarri admitted that: "I'm not able to motivate these players. We need to play with a different mentality.

"We stopped playing. We didn't play like a team. It's difficult to understand why."

Legit.ng earlier reported that Bournemouth cruised to a 4-0 convincing victory over Chelsea in Wednesday's Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Joshua King scored brace in the meeting while Chris Brooks and Charlie Daniels netted the remaining goals.

Having suffered their fifth defeat of the Premier League this campaign, the Blues are now fifth on the table.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
