Speaking to De Marke Sports, Omur addressed the rumours, he said: "Liverpool is a very important club.

"But the most important thing is Trabzonspor's interests. If my club tell me that I can go, I'll go. And if they tell me to stay, I'll stay. We'll see."

Klopp had admitted in a press conference that he didn't expect there would be any surprise signings this window, but the Turkish star's arrival is through to be dependant on Lallana's future at Anfield.

Turkish side Fenerbache are thought to be keen on the injury-prone midfielder and have offered the 30-year-old the chance to get regular game time.

So far this month, Liverpool have sold Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth for £19 million and Nathaniel Clyne has joined him on loan for the remainder of the season.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Premier league side Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne on loan until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Sky Sports reports that the 27-year-old, who has just four Premier League appearances this campaign will help Bournemouth’s injury situation with Simon Francis and Adam Smith out on the sidelines.

Interestingly, Bournemouth had to improvise during their 3-3 draw with Watford on Wednesday, with Junior Stanislas moved to right wing-back by club boss manager Eddie Howe.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
