When it gets to that decision, Nigerians will know what his decision is. We will surely cross the bridge when we get there,” he said.

However, the PDP has said that Buhari must attend the debate as its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was ready to debate with the president in any location he chooses, even if it was inside Aso Villa.

The party’s national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the PDP would also not accept the idea of the president sending a representative to stand for him at the debate.

“President Buhari must participate at the debate. It is he that our candidate, Atiku Abubakar, wants to debate with,” Ologbondiyan said.

“So, it matters to us that he attends the debate and not send in a representative. We are insisting that President Buhari must come in person.

The Lagos-based cleric made the statement in an interview in Calgary, Canada, adding that he is currently building a political family from across the world, which would be deployed for future political aspirations, The Cable reports.

Legit.ng notes that Bakare said President Buhari is the 15th president or head of state of the country, adding that he (Bakare) would be the 16th.
