The report added that Chelsea want to keep the player at the club, but Odoi wants a regular playing time and he is interested in leaving.

Hudson-Odoi is into the last 18 months of his contract and Chelsea know if he will not sign a new deal then they will have to cut their losses and sell to the highest bidder.

He has not played in any Premier League game for the Blues this season as they currently occupy fourth position on the standings with 47 points after 22 games played this term.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Chelsea completed the signing of 20-year-old American football star Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for £58 million.

But the winger who had been linked to Liverpool will be loaned back to the Bundesliga side until the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.

Chelsea have beaten a number of Premier League clubs to the signing and the winger will join Maurizio Sarri's men in the summer.
