Festus Keyamo has blamed the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, for the rise in corruption in the United States, after the US gave him a visa.

Keyamo, the Director, Strategic Communications of Buhari Campaign Organisation, shared the TI reports on Twitter and commented: "Anything that gravitates towards Atiku is always tainted with corruption. Now, the US gives him a ‘special waiver’ as a candidate to come in for a few days and see the result."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, January 29, replied the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, over the latter’s recent state of the nation address.

Tinubu, in the reply he personally signed and made available to Legit.ng, described Atiku as unfit for the position he currently seeks to occupy. He also alleged that the former vice president indicted himself over his stance on the suspension of Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen.

Tinubu said: "The PDP’s presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku, recently made comments regarding suspension of CJN Onnoghen. Atiku’s release is entitled “State of the nation address”. I encourage everyone to read it. In its disregard for the truth and patent misrepresentations, it will go down in political history as a classic of self-incrimination. Atiku thinks the piece exalts him. Instead it evinces his penchant for wilful misstatement that make him unfit for the office he now seeks and has always coveted."
