Sad! See photos of man who died after doctor waited to receive alert before he could commence treatment

A Nigerian man has just taken to this Facebook profile to call out a hospital in Rivers state, for not treating his cousin. According to him, the deceased was shot but refused treatment because the doctor insisted on receiving an alert.

Tekena Liamge-Koko further reported that the hospital first requested for a police report and asked for a deposit of N25,000 before late Progress Dennis could be attended to. A transfer of N30,000 was made because the hospital’s Point Of Sale (POS) was not working.

After this transfer was made, the doctor still refused to attend to the young man whose blood was dripping on the floor because the hospital is yet to receive the credit alert in order to confirm the transaction was successful.

Liamge-Koko’s post reads: “My cousin lay on the floor; bleeding out from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel not only said they'd not touch him without a police report on the incidence and a deposit; they actually went as far as ignoring his cries. One most cursed of the dregs of the earth complained that "He was straining their floor with blood". ( Okay so he INTENTIONALLY was doing it right?!) Idiot. His cries attracted the attention of a passing doctor who in breaking all protocol, directed that we carry my cousin into a ward. The doctor SCREAMED at a ‘nurse’ who got his gear. That doctor who chose to be human saved my cousin's life and my aunt's heart, when the other blood sucking demonic vampires would have had them dead. Eye witness reports state that Datta medical center personnel watched progress bleed out. Those people have families. They said they'd not attend to him until a 25,000 Naira deposit was paid. Those people have families. Datta medical center does not have a POS machine. Progress was bleeding out. He needed to be stabilized. Datta medical center personnel did nothing. They had not received any money. Those people have families. Eye witness report state that N30,000 was transferred to the account number provided by Datta medical center. They made no move to attend to progress who was bleeding out. They had not received alert. Those people have families. Bleeding out profusely, progress went into shock. He passed out. He died. The depravity of Datta medical center was a major contributing factor to the death; the murder of progress. Datta medical center has antecedent of such callousness. In wilder times, Datta would be burnt down and their personnel lynched. In saner climes, they'd have their license revoked and their personnel prosecuted. Let's aim for sanity. A lot of us are close to persons who have the ears of the governor and relevant law makers. Let's wield our influence. Let's ensure that Datta medical center operational license is revoked. #askmehow.

Galadima, an ardent critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, claimed that he did not borrow money or have unpaid debt with Unity Bank, which lodged a complaint against him and occasioned AMCON’s move on Tuesday. The properties taken over include House No. 15, Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and House No. 4, Bangui Street, Wuse 2, also in Abuja.  Reacting to the situation, Galadima said, “This is an attempt to disgrace and break me down.
