Real Madrid star finally speaks on his £70m move to join Chelsea

- Isco has debunked rumours he will join Chelsea in the January window

- The Spaniard has been at logger-heads with Real Madrid manager Solari

- The 26-year-old has also been heavily linked with Man City and Arsenal

Real Madrid playmaker Isco has revealed he is not ready to leave the club to join Chelsea in January, despite falling out-of-favour with Santiago Solari.

The Spain international has started just once under the Argentine manager and was booed by fans during Los Blancos Champions League 3-0 loss to CSKA Moscow.

But the former Malaga player has insisted he will not be leaving the Bernabeu before the summer and added he will fight his way back into the starting XI.

"I'm very excited about the new year," Isco told Deportes Cuatro. "I'm not going to go in the winter market, I'm very happy.

"Of course I want to continue with Madrid, to continue winning titles."

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with Premier League side Chelsea in a deal worth £70million and a £250,000-per-week in wages.

Isco who is in the peak of his career, has made 18 appearances in all competitions, but few of them have come under Solari.

The Spaniard has only started once and has further made six substitute appearances from the bench for Los Merengues.

Isco captained the Madrid side that thrashed minnows Melilla 6-1 and found the back of the net twice in the Copa del Rey fixture.

The midfielder has also been linked to join Pep Guardiola in Manchester City and north London club Arsenal but Chelsea are understood to be in the lead for Isco's signature.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea have joined Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco and the Blues are ready to tempt Los Blancos' chiefs with mouthwatering bid.

The Stamford Bridge landlords are expected to make a £70 million bid and hope personal terms of around £250,000 a week will quickly be agreed.
