Pereira broke into United's senior team in 2014 but has spent the last two seasons at Granada and Valencia.

However, SunSport quoting the Mirror reveals that the Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is hoping to lure the midfielder to the London Stadium.

The Brazilian's current contract at the club expires in 2019 and the Belgian born Brazilian has already turned down a new three year deal at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing the midfield star, but will prefer to join a club that can guarantee first team football.

Pereira's ability to multiple roles in the attack will suit Pellegrini’s side due to prior injuries at the London Stadium.

Since the start of the ongoing football League season in Europe, the Belgian has been on loan at Valencia and does not want a return to Old Trafford.

This term in the Spanish La Liga, the 21-year-old has played in nine of Valencia's opening 11 games as the club are currently four points ahead of Real Madrid.
