Nigerian soldier fighting Boko Haram terrorists celebrates birthday on the battlefield (photo)

The Nigerian soldiers have put out their best in fighting Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state, some have lost their lives during the war while others are lucky to be alive.

On Tuesday, December 18, a Twitter user Abubakar Mohd Kareto (@amkareto) took to his handle to handle to share picture of a Nigerian soldier who turned a year older on the battlefield.

He wished the young man a happy birthday and urged some of his followers to help celebrate the soldier on his special day.

Looking at the picture, the young soldier could be seen carrying his birthday cake with broad smiles on his face. There were also two packs of soft drinks and bottles of wines on a bench. Despite being in the bush, he surely had a memorable birthday.
