Messi speaks on Dembele’s future at Barcelona amid Arsenal, Liverpool links in January

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is tipping Arsenal and Liverpool transfer target Ousmane Dembele to fulfill his potential at Camp Nou despite January exit talks.

According to UK Metro, the 21-year-old Dembele has been repeatedly fined for indiscipline at the La Liga giants after arriving late to the team’s training session, and also had a mobile phone ban slammed on him by Erenesto Valverde at the start of December.

Interestingly, the Frenchman who broke into the scene while at Borussia Dortmund, was largely an unknown figure 24 months ago at Rennes before he was spotted by Sven Mislintat Arsenal’s head of recruitment.

The Frenchman eventually dumped the Bundesliga side for Barcelona in stunning €105m deal last summer but off-field issues has hindered his progress at Camp Nou.

Speaking about Dembele’s potential at Barca as winter transfer talks continue, Messi told Spanish news channel, Marca that the Frenchman has what it takes to be a top player at Barcelona.

According to UK Sun report, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is ready to have the 21-year-old Frenchman, who have impressed in few games for Barcelona despite coming off the bench this campaign.

And reports now suggest Barca boss Ernersto Valverde is unhappy with the attitude of the former Dortmund ace.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
