Man United plot big move for £18m rated defender to solve Mourinho defensive woes

- Galatasaray defender Ozan Kabak has emerged as a target for Manchester United

- Jose Mourinho wants the 18-year-old player to be in his squad next year

- The Portuguese is also said to have held discussions with representatives of Ozan Kabak

Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with Turkish club Galatasaray for the possibility of signing star defender Ozan Kabak.

The 18-year-old central defender has been impressive this season for the Turkish club after breaking into the first team.

And according to the report on Daily Star UK, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is eyeing an £18m move for the player when the transfer window opens.

It was also claimed that Galatasaray chairman Mustafa Cengiz flew to England earlier this week to discuss a potential deal for Ozan Kabak.

The report added that the Galatasaray boss also had discussions with Manchester City chiefs over a move.

Ozan Kabak signed his first professional contract with Galatasaray on 1 July, 2017 and made his professional debut for Galatasaray in a 2-0 Süper Lig win over Yeni Malatyaspor on May 12, 2018.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering bringing striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to Old Trafford when the January 2019 transfer window opens.

The 37-year-old Swedish professional football star spent two terms at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho and left the Premier League side in March this year for a move to LA Galaxy.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
