From grass to grace: Inspiring story of Yul Edochie, who started his hustle in Nollywood 13 years ago
Since he declared his interest in running for political office, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has become more open with details of happenings in his life.
Recently, he shared a hilarious throwback photo of himself while he was still a student University of Port Harcourt, making fans feel closer to him by knowing details of his journey in life. The actor who launched his acting career some 13 years ago recently recounted the story of his humble beginnings on social media.
With a photo of him sitting in a public bus, he revealed that in the years where he started acting, he got excited whenever his name appeared on the cast list after an audition as it guaranteed him a seat in the bus used to transport the crew.
With nothing but passion for the job, he revealed that it didn't matter if he had just one scene to act, he was always happy to be in the environment of shooting a movie as he learned the craft from the other actors.

Yul who recently defected to People's Democratic Party (PDP) has definitely come a long way from his days of acting in Nollywood. Luckily, he was born into the business being the son of the legendary actor, Pete Edochie. However, Yul made sure to pay his dues and earn a reputation separate from his father's umbrella in the industry.
Many social media users found it easy to resonate with his success story and easily took his advice about not giving up, no matter what they are currently facing.
Yul Edohie is currently aiming to be the next governor of Anmambra state under the flagship of PDP. In fact, he was recently hosted by former President Goodluck Jonathan, whom he claimed told him that he is Nigeria's hope for a better nation.
