Interestingly, Mourinho’s last game for United was the 3-1 bashing by Liverpool on Sunday, a performance that saw the Red Devils fall 19 points behind the Reds at the summit of the EPL log.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Manchester United have sacked Jose Mourinho barely three-years in charge at the Theatre of Dreams.

United have recorded poor strings of results in all through their campaign including their 3-1 bashing at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

Mourinho's assistant and former captain, Micheal Carrick is reportedly going to be in charge until a new manager is appointed.
