Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Who Surrounds You?

Paul EnencheTopic: Who Surrounds You? [Seeds of Destiny 10 August 2019 Devotional]

The quality of one’s destiny is determined by the quality of his relationships. The people in your life affect the quality of your life.

SCRIPTURE: He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Who surrounds you determines what you can survive.

We have been on a journey of exploring the factors that confirm the fulfilment of destiny. Previously, we have seen the maintenance quality relationship with God amongst others. Today, we shall be looking at the sustenance of quality relationship.

It is important to know that the quality of one’s destiny is determined by the quality of his relationships. The people in your life affect the quality of your life. There is something that is worse than the lack of money; it is the lack of quality people. It is a miserable person and a miserable destiny that is empty of quality people.

Those who don’t value people don’t value their destiny. The truth is, no one can succeed in this world without quality people because the world is filled with people. So, a lack of value for quality people equals lack of value for destiny.

When Paul the Apostle was stoned to death in the Book of Acts 14:20; those he had loved and touched surrounded him, they stood round about him. They did not say anything, they did not offer a prayer; they just released on him their goodwill, affection, positive touch, and he stood up on his feet.

Who surrounds you determines what you can survive; who surrounds you determines how far you can succeed.

Beloved, do not play with your surrounding because your surrounding determines your success and survival. If you doubt me, ask those who live in snake-infested areas. It is a great thing to be surrounded by people who supply you goodwill because goodwill is stronger than witchcraft.

Remember this: Who surrounds you determines what you can survive.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Disconnect yourself from any relationship that is not adding value to your life and destiny.
  2. Surround yourself with quality people.
