- Another Nigerian actor has been reported dead after he was involved in a car crash on his way to Lagos state

- The actor Duke Oliver had been heading back from his mother's burial when the tragic accident occurred

- Oliver was known for his role as Silvanus in popular series Dogood

A Nollywood actor Duke Oliver has reportedly passed away in a tragic accident while he was on his way to Lagos from Akwa Ibom state. The actor, popularly known as Silvanus, died on his way from a burial.

It was reported that the Dogood series actor had been heading back from his mother's burial which took place in Akwa Ibom state, on Friday, March 29.

Film director known as Grandmaster had announced the tragic news on his Instagram page this Wednesday, April 3. Grandmaster expressed sadness over the loss of his friend and wished him a peaceful rest.

He said: "My Heart is so so Heavy right now. I am in a dark and painful place. Tragedy is a euphemism. We just lost SILVANUS of DOGOOD. My dear brother was returning from the burial of his mother when death added my friend to his mean account. RIP. These Tears won’t stop flowing."

In his tribute, Grandmaster described Silvanus as a lovely soul who smiled, played and never complained. He noted that Silvanus would be deeply missed.

Grandmaster wrote: "I am so speechless and so sad. You were such a lovely soul. You smile, you play and never complained. You leave a vacuum that most of the world cannot fill. I will miss so much, it burns my heart. Sleep! Sleep great and awesome Talent. Sleep."

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID. The project is expected to add an extra 8 million tons per annum of gas to the 22 mtpa currently exported by the company. Oil News AddThis :
