- A lawyer has passed away after being involved in an accident in Lagos

- The young man who was observing his National Youth Service had reportedly fallen off a commercial bus

- Akhigbe Nuel Odiase was said to have sustained serious head injuries from the terrible accident

A young lawyer identified as Akhigbe Nuel Odias has reportedly passed away after he sustained head injuries from a terrible accident in Lagos state. The young man was observing his National Youth Service when he met his untimely death.

It was gathered that the young corps member is a graduate of law at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. The deceased had reportedly fallen off a moving commercial bus along Isheri-Igando road, and sustain serious head injuries.

The young man was reported to have been rushed to the hospital immediately the accident occurred around 9:45pm, on Monday, April 15.

Odiase was rushed to the Alimosho General Hospital in Igando, where he was referred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

Legit.ng had come across the story after a friend of the deceased @Sir_BiolaPr shared the sad news on Twitter.

According to the friend, Odiase was in a coma when he passed away. He said: "I woke up to the sad death of one Of our own, A colleague who is actually a peaceful guy, Fell down from Danfo in Lagos and had serious head injuries, He was in comma when He died."

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID. The project is expected to add an extra 8 million tons per annum of gas to the 22 mtpa currently exported by the company. Oil News AddThis :
