A foreign journalist identified as Anna Cunningham has lamented the dilapidated state of Lagos-Badagry road, saying those responsible for putting the road in good shape should be ashamed.
Cunningham, who took to her Twitter page on Tuesday, April 16 to express her displeasure over the bad road, described the latter as a total disgrace.
According to the foreign journalist, the road is capable of shortening the lifespan of people that ply it.
Legit.ng notes that she tweeted: "A total disgrace, this road is shocking Lagos-Badagry. How are people supposed to travel this road daily? Just unbelievable. The road alone will shorten your life if nothing else does. Those responsible should be ashamed."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the minister of power, works and housing, Babatunde Fashola, said bad roads are not the reasons for injuries and accidents on the highways but carefree road users.
The minister said road accidents are largely caused by over-speed and the carelessness of drivers as bad roads are not good for speedy driving.
Fashola said this in Abuja at a workshop on the five United Nations’ convention on road traffic agreed to by Nigeria.
In a statement by the minister, he also mentioned that the workshop showed the importance and commitment the government has for the safety of Nigerian lives.
The head of the ministry of power, works and housing, said that the federal government was carrying out road projects across the states of the nation.
He informed the participants at the workshop that there were plans for the building of more road signs to make the road safer for users.
