The governor-elect of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday, April 6, paid a visit to the bereaved family of Kolade Johnson, a resident of the state, who was recently killed by a police officer.
Sanwo-Olu was received at the home of the family members who are still battling to accommodate the reality of the death of Kolade, by the late victim's parents.
At the time of this report, it was not clear what the governor-elect told the family, but he confirmed the visit on his Twitter handle.
"Life is a gift, an opportunity to create memories, relationships and a legacy that lives beyond us.
"Today, I visited the family of Kolade Johnson and heard about the many things he did with his gift. I pray that God gives the family the strength and grace in this tough time," he said.
