Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said it remained apolitical and would congratulate and rejoice with whoever wins the presidential election in the country.
Daily Trust reports that CAN made this known on Thursday, March 28, while denying being under pressure to congratulate President Buhari on his re-election.
The association president, Samson Ayokunle, in a statement, by his media aide, Bayo Oladeji, said: ''It is a normal thing for CAN to rejoice and to congratulate whoever wins the presidential poll in the country because of its political neutrality.
