Nigerian man shares his ingenious idea of how to revamp NYSC, says corp members should be given money to start business
A Nigerian youth has taken to social media to share his piece of mind as it concerns the National Youth Service Corps.
The social media user identified as Olumide O.G, recently took to popular micro blogging platform Twitter, to share his ingenious idea about how to restructure the NYSC.
Responding to a NYSC customized version of viral South African tweet ‘O je w aka eng?’ which translates to ‘what is bothering you?’, the young man had made the submission that the scheme should not be scraped, as suggested by many.
He said instead of stopping the mandatory service of Nigerian students to their country, it should simply be reduced to three weeks of camping.

Going further, Olumide said upon completion of the three weeks in camp, corps members should be giving the sum N237,600 to start a business of choice.
He said: "NYSC should not be scraped, it should be reduced to just the 3 weeks camping instead, after then all corp members should be given a sum of 237600 (19800 x 12) to start a business."
