Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria’s former president, cast his vote at his polling unit in Abeokuta Central during the governorship and state House of Assembly elections on Saturday, March 9.
Independent reports that the former president, however, refused to make any comments after exercising his civic duties.

Legit.ng gathers that despite attempts by journalists to get him on the record, the former president refused to speak.
After casting his vote, he simply got into his car and left the scene.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Aremu Gbadebo, on Tuesday, March 5, advised former president Olusegun Obasanjo to desist from his ceaseless attacks on President Muhammadu Buhari.
The monarch gave the advice in his goodwill message to mark Obasanjo’s 82nd birthday anniversary at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta.
The former president, however, responded by saying that the issues between him and Buhari were not personal.
