Female ex-convict gets nabbed after breaking into home to steal women underwear in Ogun (photos)

Underwear thieves seem to be on the rise every day so that a lot of controversies have been generated over this issue. Recently, a woman broke into a home in Ogun state to steal female underwear. She would have gone scot-free had it not been for the intervention of neighbours.

The lady whose identity has not been disclosed broke into a compound at Onirugba street in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state, while the inhabitants were away. Apparently, they had all gone to church.

Because the gate of the compound was locked, she jumped over the fence and broke into one of the houses in the compound. Then she quickly went about the business of stealing underwear and lingerie from the wardrobe.

This lady was on the verge of going scot-free. However, some neighbours who had seen her jump the fence to get into the compound decided to look into the matter.

Fortunately, they caught her in the act of stealing items that were not meant to get into the open from a particular house in the compound.

In dealing with this situation, this lady was taken to Igbeba police station in Ogun state where she was interrogated and detained.

It was at the police station that it was revealed that the lady had just been released from prison the previous year after serving 2 year sentence for stealing a motorcycle.

Apparently, this lady is an expert thief who had only delved into the new territory of stealing underwear. Recently, a Nigerian man was nabbed for stealing his sister's underwear.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
