Senator Andy Uba has debunked media reports suggesting he is preparing to vie for the office of the Senate president in the 9th Senate.
Uba, the senator representing Anambra south senatorial zone in the upper chamber, said the report is false and geared towards distracting his campaign.
In a statement sent to Legit.ng on Monday, February 4 by his media office, the senator said he is at the moment concentrating on returning to the Senate.
“l am more interested in concentrating on achieving victory both for myself and the party in this very keenly contested elections,” he said.
