Arsenal star pens emotional message to fans as he is set to join Ronaldo in Juventus

- Aaron Ramsey is set to join Juventus in the summer

- The Italian giants have since confirmed the capture of the Welsh midfielder

- Ramsey, who joined Arsenal from Cardiff City took to Twitter to thank the club's fans for the support during his time at the Emirates

Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, has sent the club's fans a farewell message ahead of his summer departure to Juventus.

Ramsey signed a pre-contract with the Italian giants after being denied a new deal with the Emirates outfit.

He had several offers from top European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, but opted for a move to Italy.

Juventus confirmed the capture of the talented midfielder on a free transfer after agreeing to sign a four-year deal with the Serie A Champions.

On Monday night, February 11, the Welsh star took to Twitter to confirm his imminent move to Turin, thanking Arsenal fans for the support they accorded him through the years.

"As you may have already heard, I have agreed a pre-contract with Juventus. I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans who have been extremely loyal and supportive," Ramsey said in a statement.

"It is with a heavy heart that I leave after 11 incredible years in north London. Thank you," he added.

He further affirmed that he will continue to give his best for the Gunners for the rest of the season before his departure.

The 28-year-old signed for Arsenal under Arsene Wenger from Cardiff City more than a decade ago.

He went on to play a central role during Wenger's tenure at the club.that ended last summer.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Aaron Ramsey signed a pre-contract agreement to join Juventus in the summer in a deal that will earn the Arsenal midfielder over £400,000 a week.

The Wales international has agreed a four-year contract with the Italian champions as a free agent after ending his 11-year romance with the Gunners.

The 28-year-old was medically cleared on two occasions in January having being allowed to talk to top European clubs.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
