Nigerian chef rocks her mom's old shoulder-padded jumpsuit, shares lovely photos

If there is one constant fact about fashion, it is that it is never constant. It continues to evolve and change. But even in its fast-paced dynamic evolution, like a cycle, fashion always seem to come back to come back to something it had left behind in the past.

A lady recently took to sharing a very touching, heartwarming story in this regard. Several decades ago, the mother of this beautiful lady who is a chef used to rock a blue jumpsuit that is swaggy, baggy and trendy (at least in those days).

She wore this dress all through the time she was pregnant till she got tired of it (or truly, till the attire stopped reigning anymore). Because she did not simply want to discard it, she gifted it to her daughter.

Her daughter named Chinwe Nancy on Instagram recently got into the mood of cleaning her home one day. During the exercise, she stumbled on this old jumpsuit and she put it on. Not only did the shoulder-padded dress look beautiful on her, it actually was reflective of the fashion trend in today's world.

So yes, an attire from so many decades ago has become relevant again. Chinwe was so thrilled by the jumpsuit that she showed it off to her mom. As expected, her mother who is now older was surprised and thrilled. Her reaction was nostalgic and reminiscent of how much she loved the dress.

Chinwe Nancy, a well established chef, went on to share pictures of the jumpsuit which was worn by herself and her mother. She also added a lovely caption to it which depicted her mother's hilarious reaction and also paid tribute to the dead best friend of her mom.

Unlike this really beautiful experience, a lady's jumpsuit story did not exactly go as smooth. She had ordered a dress of this nature worth N16k. But what she got was an eyesore.

A former Director-General of the Nigeria Maritime Agency, Buba Galadima, has accused the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria of witch-hunt after the agency took possession of his business and assets on Tuesday in Abuja. Galadima, an ardent critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, claimed that he did not borrow money or have unpaid debt with Unity Bank, which lodged a complaint against him and occasioned AMCON’s move on Tuesday. The properties taken over include House No. 15, Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and House No. 4, Bangui Street, Wuse 2, also in Abuja.  Reacting to the situation, Galadima said, “This is an attempt to disgrace and break me down. This is injustice and an attempt to humiliate me. "But I am unbreakable and they can never silence me. They sacked me and over 50 people that sleep in the apartment. "We don’t know where to go.
