Adekunle Gold and Simi give fans a glimpse of their wedding in new video, Nigerians react

Entertainment industries over the world often plays host to several beautiful love stories. It had even become the norm for stars to get married at an elaborate affair that sometimes carries on for days.

However Nigerian musicians, Adekunle Gold and Simi, got married on January 9, 2019, at a very hush-hush event. Their union was kept a big secret and only few celebrities were opportune to attend their traditional wedding.

The couple reportedly hosted their white wedding ceremony the day after and several fans took to social media to lament being left out of the whole proceedings.

Perhaps to compensate their loyalists, the couple recently dropped a new music video, Promise, which includes scenes from their white wedding.

The heart-warming video was set on a beach and it showed Adekunle Gold and Simi looking very happy and in love. Since its release several Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the video.

Legit.ng recently reported that newly wed husband, Adekunle Gold, has now confirmed his union to Simi in a mail sent to his fans. The musician thanked fans for all their well wishes.

The Ire crooner also revealed that he had proposed to Simi early 2018 after five years of dating. According to him, they decided to keep their wedding a secret ceremony because it is easy to get lost in the limelight.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID. The project is expected to add an extra 8 million tons per annum of gas to the 22 mtpa currently exported by the company. Oil News AddThis :
