2019: Buhari storms southwest for APC 'Next Level' message

- President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, for his campaign

- The presidential campaign council of the APC on Thursday, January 24, in Anambra and Enugu states launched Buhari's re-election bid

- Buhari would meet with traditional rulers at the chiefs secretariat before moving to the venue of the APC campaign rally in Ibadan

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, January 26, departed Abuja for Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, to resume his re-election campaign after a day break on Friday, January 25.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that before the break, the president and members of the presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were on Thursday, January 24, in Anambra and Enugu states to launch the re-election bid.

Legit.ng gathered that Buhari had on Friday, January 25, during the break, signed the Executive Order 007 of 2019 on road infrastructure development and refurbishment investment tax credit scheme.

The scheme was part of the administration’s commitment to the provision of critical road infrastructure across the country.

He also swore-in the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko, to replace Justice Walter Onnoghen, who has been suspended pending final determination of the cases against him..

While in Ibadan, Buhari would meet with traditional rulers at the chiefs secretariat before moving to the venue of the APC campaign rally in the state.

The president and members of the presidential campaign council are expected to address the rally and deliver the `Next Level’ messages to the people of the state.

Buhari is also expected to take his campaign train to Osogho, Osun state, later in the day. (NAN)

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that former national legal adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the southwest zonal director of the President Muhammadu Buhari campaign council, Olusola Oke, on Friday, January 25, called on the people of the zone to support Buhari’s reelection.

it was reported that Oke said Buhari was living up to the ideals of Chief Obafemi Awolowo like accountability, transparency and commitment to the development of the zone.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID. Former Maritime Agency Boss, Buba Galadima, Accuses AMCON Of Witch-hunt After Property Takeover
